Had a morning to kill before check-in (and sleep), so wandered to Darling Harbour. Figured I had to eat something. Travelling has this weird effect where I know I’ve got to eat, but I just can’t face it. Simplicity Cafe’s “Mango and Granola bowl” fitted the bill perfectly – never seen anything quite like this in England, and certainly not for £5:
After a welcome afternoon nap, we asked at reception for a good place to eat. “Betty’s Burgers” had recently opened, so we wandered over to find they had an opening night deal. Don’t usually eat burgers, but it was cheap as chips. Or burgers.
