“Travel light, but take one luxury with you.”
I recently had the opportunity to take some time out. So I made a list of all the places I’d like to go in the world and then chose one based on safety, cost, easiness and time of year. South East Asia won. I had flights booked within 4 days, and was on the plane three weeks later.
My luxury? Three pairs of pants. I’d usually “wear one, pack one”, but I realised that for this trip I needed more comfort. So I’ve three spare pairs of pants. Three. Very extravagant (for me anyway!).
